The Department of Preventive Medicine graduate programs in biostatistics and epidemiology provide students with the strong analytic and quantitative skills needed to conduct biomedical research, disease surveillance and program evaluation. Core courses in data analysis and statistics prepare students for elective course options in a variety of areas including biomedical informatics, statistical genetics, environmental statistics, artificial intelligence and molecular epidemiology.
