I chose to pursue a master's degree in public health because I wanted to learn about the different ways I can help improve health outcomes of marginalized communities that may not have the same resources as other communities.

I chose the Master of Public Health program because I've always been interested in preventive medicine and addressing quality in healthcare. As an undergraduate, I studied public health sciences and had a deeper understanding of the biology of diseases. Thus, I wanted to complete the full picture of how I thought of healthcare by exploring the public health policy side as well.
