Samantha NoorGlobal Health
Samantha will graduate from the University of Southern California Progressive Degree Program with a degree in Neuroscience and MPH concentrating in Global Health. During her graduate program, Samantha promoted state-wide tobacco control policy as a California Youth Advocacy Network member. She worked with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services to increase the accessibility of medications for addiction treatment in community health centers throughout LA County. She has also worked closely with Shirati Active for Rehabilitation and Development Organization, a NGO that empowers people with disabilities through socio-economic inclusion initiatives in rural Tanzania. After completing her MPH, she hopes to pursue a career in global health, policy, and management, helping implement innovative programs and solutions to promote sustainable development. Samantha enjoys music, practicing calligraphy, and playing golf in her free time.
